Plan your pitstop and beat fatigue this Easter
Western Australians have been encouraged to consult the WALGA RoadWise website as part of their Easter journey preparations and include a Driver Reviver or Coffee Stop pit stop along the way to avoid driving while drowsy.
Driver Reviver volunteers will be on location across the Easter weekend to allow travellers to take a break, enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea and a biscuit.
Most importantly, it’s an opportunity to stop and revive or swap drivers before continuing their journey refreshed.
Coffee Stop locations can be found in roadhouses and service stations from the north to the south of the state, again offering drivers a chance to stop for a coffee and refresh before continuing their journey safely.
WALGA RoadWise reported that in 2017 and 2018, 1801 drivers were revived at 19 reviver sites manned by 31 volunteers for 204 hours over 31 days.
