The Road Safety Commission has added two new languages to the ‘On the Road' series of safe driving guidelines for international and interstate visitors to Western Australia.

Since the launch of the booklets in December, the Road Safety Commission has been inundated with requests for the multilingual guides that are now available in Arabic and Japanese, as well as Italian, French, German, Mandarin, Korean, Malay and English.

The Road Safety Commission has distributed around 9000 copies across the state with the assistance of RoadWise.

These have been distributed to:
  • Clubs WA
  • An English Language School
  • Post Offices
  • Legal Services
  • Police Stations
  • DoT Licensing Offices
  • WALGA RoadWise
  • Visitor Centres
  • Local Government Shires
  • RAC
  • Caravan Parks
  • Service Stations
  • MLC’s and MLA’s
Interest in the booklets has been high with agencies and individuals recommending opportunities for further distribution around the state.
