Saving Lives Together

Look out for Driver Reviver sites this Labour Day

Western Australians are encouraged to make a stop at a Driver Reviver location to fight fatigue this Labour Day long weekend.

28 Feb 2019
WALGA RoadWise Driver Reviver volunteers will be ready and waiting at several locations around the state, to offer travellers a free coffee, tea and biscuits, and crucially, an opportunity for a break before continuing their journey safely.

Driver Reviver started operating in WA almost 27 years ago with one stop in Southern Cross, and now has volunteers ready to help the community fight fatigue at 19 locations around the state.

Find locations around the state on the WALGA RoadWise website and add a Driver Reviver stop to your itinerary.

Across the long weekend, WA Police Force will hand out double demerit points to drivers who are caught speeding, drink or drug driving, using their mobile phone illegally, not wearing a seatbelt or running a red light.

Double demerit points will be enforced from midnight Thursday 28 February to midnight Monday 4 March 2019.
