Messages in motion encourage safe decisions on the road
A new community driven platform is being trialled by the Road Safety Commission to get road safety messages where they are need the most - on WA roads.
Messages in Motion is a community conscience start-up where WA Surf Life Saving Clubs in Perth and Geraldton are now delivering distraction and drink driving road safety messages to the community using the rear windows of members' vehicles.
The Commission was approached by WA Surf Life Saving, with both organisations initiating an eight-week trial of 50 Messages in Motion cars.
The drivers involved in Messages in Motion are surf life saving club members who will use their own vehicles and have had no major traffic violations in the last two years.
