The Road Safety Commission wants West Australians who travel on two wheels to get involved in the road safety conversation, and there’s a great prize up for grabs as well!

Motorcycle and moped riders, as well as pillion passengers, are encouraged to get creative and shoot a video of themselves sharing their tips for staying safe on the roads.

Perhaps you could tell us about your favourite protective gear, how you make yourself visible to other road users or where you position yourself in the lane.

It’s easy to enter and the person who sends in the best motorcycle safety tip will win a GoPro Hero 6!

Record a one-minute video of yourself sharing your safety tip for motorcyclists and upload your video on the GoPro Hero 6 Competition for Motorcyclists page.

You can enter the competition as many times as you like before it closes on Wednesday 24 October 2018.

Make sure you check out the GoPro Hero 6 Competition for Motorcyclists terms and conditions.

It’s is always to be alert on the road. You know you ride safe but not everyone on the road. I ride my motorcycle most of the time and always ride as a I am driving a car. Never pass by between the cars even on traffic lite the cars has been stopped. Always alerts drivers behind me to break 2 to 3 times so they aware I am prepared to stop. And use always motorcycle jacket helmet shoes and appropriate gear and if it’s night time always use reflective high visibility vest. Which alerts another users I am on the road when it’s dark time.
