Community forums head to Gosnells then regional WA
Want to have your say regarding the future direction of road safety in Western Australia?
Then register to attend one of the Road Safety Council's community forums
, which continue this week in Gosnells (6pm, Thursday 18 July) before moving to regional WA.
The Road Safety Council is consulting with community and stakeholders on what they are prepared to do to pursue zero deaths and serious injuries on WA roads.
Participants found the opening forum, held in Greenwood on 1 July, well worthwhile, saying it provided a good platform to air their views. They also learned about the Safe System approach to road safety.
Forums will now be held in:

- Bunbury, 12 August, 6pm
- Broome, 20 August

If you cannot attend any of the forums but still would like to provide input on the future of road safety, complete the online Consultation Feedback Form at www.imagine.zero.rsc.wa.gov.
Feedback gathered from the forums and online will be used by the Road Safety Council to prepare a draft road safety strategy that will be provided to the Minister of Road Safety for consideration.
WA's current road safety strategy, Towards Zero 2008-2020
, expires next year.
