In a bid to raise awareness and improve safety for motorcyclists who choose to commute on WA roads, the Motorcycle Riders Association WA will hold Ride Your Motorcycle to Work this Wednesday 18 April.

As part of Motorcycle Safety Week 2018, the aim of Ride Your Motorcycle to Work Day is to show other road users that motorcycle riders come from all walks of life and are not a faceless person behind a helmet.

Riders have been asked to leave the car at home on Wednesday 18 April and take their motorcycle or moped to work to remind other road users that some West Australians use motorcycles on their daily commute to work.

Great initiative! I’m an Anglican priest and I’ll be riding my bike to work on Wednesday and to a meeting in the city too.
